WATCH: Marquez Valdes-Scantling Speaks on His Decision to Join Kansas City Chiefs

In Marquez Valdes-Scantling's introductory press conference for the Kansas City Chiefs, he outlined the key reasons he chose to join the team in free agency. With the departure of Tyreek Hill, MVS felt the Chiefs offered him a "great opportunity to come in and be in a position to make an impact right away." He also touched on Chiefs head coach Andy Ried, mentioning that" Reid does a really good job of getting his playmakers the ball...I think I fit right in." With an increased role on the horizon, Marquez Valdes-Scantling is eager to "provide a spark" and play alongside Patrick Mahomes.
