Week 7:

Statline: 3 REC, 111 REC YARDS

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling totaled his most receiving yards in a game so far this season on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. Valdes-Scantling hauled in three of his four targets for 111 yards with his longest catch coming on a 57-yard pass from quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Valdes-Scantling now has the highest average yards-per-catch on the Chiefs with 16.8, and he has 369 yards on 22 receptions this season. The Chiefs went on to beat the 49ers 44-23. 


Week 6:

Statline: 3 TGTS

In his game on Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, Marquez Valdes-Scantling was targeted three times but was not able to come down with a reception. This marks the first time this season that Valdes-Scantling has gone without a catch. The Chiefs ended up losing to the Bills 20-24. 


Week 5:

Statline: 6 REC, 90 REC YARDS

The Kansas City Chiefs and wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling took on the Las Vegas Raiders in Monday Night Football this week. Valdes-Scantling was able to record season highs in targets with eight, receptions with six, and receiving yards with 90 total. He also had the most receiving yards on the team as the Chiefs went on to beat the Raiders 30-29. 


Week 4:

Statline: 3 REC, 63 REC YARDS

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling was targeted five times in their game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers Sunday night. The longest of Valdes-Scantling’s three receptions was a pass over the middle from quarterback Patrick Mahomes for 36 yards. Valdes-Scantling was able to bring in two more receptions for a game total of 63 yards. The Chiefs went on to beat the Buccaneers, 41-31. 


Week 3:

Statline: 4 REC, 48 YARDS

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling was targeted seven times on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Valdes-Scantling was able to turn those seven targets into four catches for 48 yards. The Chiefs ultimately lost the game to the Colts 17-20. 


Week 2: 

Statline: 2 REC, 13 YARDS

Marquez Valdes-Scantling led the Kansas City Chiefs wide receivers in both offensive snaps and targets on Thursday against the Los Angeles Chargers. On 45 total snaps and six targets, Valdes-Scantling secured two catches for 13 yards. The Chiefs ended up beating the Chargers 27-24.


Week 1:

Statline: 4 TGTS, 4 REC, 44 YARDS

The new receiver addition to the Kansas City Chiefs, Marquez Valdes-Scantling, caught all four of his targets on Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. Valdes-Scantling averaged 11 yards per catch with a total of 44 yards as the Chiefs went on to beat the Cardinals 44-21.
